Please note that it is no longer possible to turn right into Knole Rd from the A35 if approaching from the Christchurch direction - more information below.

From London and the South East.
Take the M3 and remain on there until you reach the M27. Follows the signs for the M27 west bound and continue to the end of the motorway. The M27 then becomes the A31 and will take you through the New Forest. After approximately 11 miles turn off the A31 onto the A338. Once you pass the Bournemouth sign leave the A338 at the 3rd junction (A3049 Boscombe). The fire station is on your left as you approach a mini roundabout. Turn right onto the Holdenhurst Road. Take the 4th left, Cleveland Rd and continue on down until you reach St Clements Church. Turn right at the T junction and then Knole Rd is the next turning on the left (next to the churchyard). Carry on down, crossing straight over the cross roads which splits Knole Rd and Boscombe Grange is approximately 200 yards further down on the right hand side.

From the North and Midlands.
Come South via the M40 until you reach junction 9. Follow the signs for the A34 south passing by Oxford, Newbury and Winchester. Once you reach the M3 follow the directions for travel from London and the South East.

From the West and Wales
Join the motorway system (M5 and M4) towards London. Leave the M4 at junction 19 and take the A46 towards Bath. Once in the Bath area pick up the A36 to Salisbury. Stay on the A36 through Salisbury until you reach the A338 to Fordingbridge and Ringwood. After Ringwood you pick up the A31 for a brief period and can then pick up the A338 into Bournemouth. From there on follow the directions for travel from London and the South East.

IMPORTANT - Please note that Bournemouth Borough Council have altered the road layout at the junction of Knole Rd and the A35, Christchurch Rd. It is still possible to turn left into Knole Rd if approaching from the Bournemouth direction, but you cannot turn right into Knole Rd if approaching from the Christchurch direction. Instead turn right into Drummond Rd (the urning before Knole Rd) and follow it to the cross roads mentioned in the directions for London and the South East - Turn left at this crossroads.
